Ultima online is unlike any other game in existance.  It's not even really a game in the sense that there's no end to the game.  There's no "main bad guy" to kill, there's no final goals... it's basically a way to live an alternate life online.  You can be an adventurer, you can be a merchant, you can even sit around and talk to your friends in a 3D world.  Call it a glorified chat room with the possibilities of so much more...

A picture from the Fire Dungeon... the reason the picture is in black and white is because the person who took the picture was killed... not that I can blame him, with all the monsters around.
I took this picture during a special event called Farmageddon.  It was the end of the world, and everyone was turned into animals.  I was part of the chicken squad, trying to kill that deer.  *grrrr*
Ultima Online has special events depending on the holidays.  Of course this picture was taken during Saint Patricks Day.  Leprechans ran through the dungeons, and you were rewarded with a green mug of ale if you could find one and kill him.
The picture began my quest for GM.  GM stands for Grandmaster... and as you grow in UO, your different skills raise.  Reaching GM means that you've earned 100 in a given skill.  And this was the first GM I ever had!
The quest for skills continue... as I recieve my second GM skill.  It wasn't really that much work... people like to whine and complain about how impossible it is... but it wasn't all that bad.
Here's my third GM skill... kinda rare to find characters with 3 GM skills, especially when your allowed a maximum of 700 skill points.  I'm working towards the 7 GM character... and on my way there now.
This is a little joke picture I made myself.  I was a beggar that got bored, so I turned myself into a ratman... and hense the picture.  :-)
My friend took this picture a while back... it was during a quest and this black chest was nearly impossible to find.  The quest is long is over, and the chest is long since gone... but it's still here in my pictures section.
I'm on the left, my dad's on the right.  Yes my dad's wearing a dress.  He plays a female character called "your Ex Wife".  What a great name for a character...  no one ever forgets him.  This was our first wyvern kill... like a smaller dragon.  Little did I know at that time that killing a wyvern is nothing.  Oh well!
This is a picture showing that your skills can go over 100, given a little help.  My Tactics is really like 89 or so on this character (long since deleted), but he's holding an axe that gives a bonus... hense the large tactics numbers.
